“Book Trailer” For Inheritance Has Released!

Did anybody notice that the only dragons featured (besides in the book covers) are Saphira and the green dragon? I mean, I KNOW it’s because of the whole “It Began with Eragon, It Ends with Inheritance” thingy, but do you think it could be something…else?

And really? This was the FIRST trailer for ANY Inheritance book? You’d think there would be some at least for Brisingr…

Lol I wouldn’t watch a cartoon version of the Inheritance Cycle. They need to up the rating to PG-13 and make it darker like it is in the book. Also, I know they would have to cut stuff out but they shouldn’t be adding things that don’t exist and taking out major players from the movie…….like dwarves, the werecat etc.

I know this may be irrelevant, I’d put it in the Angela big twenty article but I don’t think you check comments on old articles, have you ever thought of the theory that Angela is of mixed races? I know there have been only a few elven/human relationships, but what if she was a child that came from one? It could explain her age, friends with the varden and elves, and I don’t believe anyone’s seen her ears underneath all that curly hair….they could be pointy….

Love the trailer. Wish it had plot info/spoilers though….

It’s not really a “surprise.” I mean, how many of you were shocked to discover that the series started with Eragon, when that book was released in 2002? Or that the last book is Inheritance, which everyone on this site has known since it was announced? Sure, it’s a great trailer. Maybe he thought we’d be surprised that the trailer is actually better than the Eragon film. Other than that, all it shows us are the covers of the books and a little CGI magic.

Inheritance Series Book 4 Release Date Announced – We're ...

Fans who have followed Eragon’s epic journey through books 1 – 3 of the Inheritance series finally have closure.  It has been a long journey as Random House published book 1, Eragon, in 2003.  Random House published Eldest, the second in the series, in 2005, and Brinsingr, the third of the series, in 2008.  We can’t wait to learn Saphira’s and Eragon’s fate as the face-off between good and evil looms.  To celebrate Paolini’s epic conclusion, we’ve gathered up some great, free Inheritance series resources for our followers.  And to thank you fabulous followers, we’re giving away a hard cover copy of Inheritance !

There are still a few weeks of summer left before the sharpened pencils get a workout, so spend some time re-reading the series and working on some fun activities.We’ve created a spelling/vocabulary list of our very favorite words used in the series.  Surely we’ll add words to the list after we read Inheritance, but there are already 172 great words on the list, complete with definitions.

We’re giving away a copy (hard cover book) of Inheritance to one lucky entrant. I have been a fan since i read the first book in when I was in the fifth grade, (i am now 18 and graduated)Eragon was by far my favourite part of the inheritance cycle mainly because most events that take place throughout the tale have relavence throughout the rest of the books, (i.e. the twins reaction to searching Eragons’ mind in the opening caves of farthen dur,or Saphira’s secrecy in what Brom actually tell her after Eragon breaks his wrist between Daret and Tierm)once i had finished Eragon i had devoted most of my life to re-reading and waiting for what happens next,i have spent 90% of the last eight years waiting to find out how everything ends,i couldn’t imagine anyone more enthralled to discover the ending then myself.the inheritance cycle has consumed a large portion on my life and i was devastated when Christopher broke his trend and did not release inheritance (the fourth book) on august 23rd, as he had released every other installment exactly two years apart from the last.
