Kate Middleton was all smiles as she met actress Reese Witherspoon this weekend. Sipping on cocktails, the lovely gals chatted and laughed during the reception at the Launch of Tusk Trust’s US Patron’s Circle in Santa Barbara, California.
Witherspoon sported an orange dress for the event while Kate wore a navy and white crochet top and a white pleat skirt.
Reese expressed her excitement for the royal wedding earlier this year, just after her own nuptials to Jim Toth in April. While on The Ellen DeGeneres Show
“It’s more fun going to somebody else’s wedding, but I haven’t been invited, which has really been sad,” she said. “My mother and I watched Princess Diana’s wedding. I think I was five and my mother sobbed through the whole thing.”
Meanwhile, the newly married Royal Couple finished their first joint overseas tour. They arrived in Los Angeles on Friday after spending nine days in Canada. The couple started off their tour of North America by joining millions of Canadians in taking part in Canada Day celebrations which mark Canada’s 144th Birthday.
