Hollywood's Love of Scientific Mishaps

Hits theaters this Friday, giving moviegoers everywhere a chance to spend some time with a cuddly James Franco and some seriously smart apes. In the movie, Franco plays scientist Will Rodman, who, through his work with chimps, aims to find a cure for Alzheimer’s disease.  However, things do not go exactly as planned.

But with this opening comes more than just a reboot of the science fiction classic. Rise —Uh oh, looks like a tiny bit of information was overlooked when the brain used to power the brawn was that of a criminal. Not cool guys.

A clerical error was all it took for the newly minted life to turn into a killer. As a result: one of Hollywood’s best known monsters and one of the creepiest/controversial movie moments of the time.

—Umbrella’s tyrant virus, otherwise known as “t-virus,” has become loose in the Hive thanks to someone’s negligence (or, was it on purpose?) and causes the Red Queen to shut herself down.

Great security measures until you remember that all the employees are still inside the now locked doors and hovering virus, effectively turning them all into manic zombies. It is only a matter of time before the disease leaks to the surface of Raccoon City above, eventually threatening the entire world.

—To begin with, they assumed that humans and animals would react to the same virus similarly. They were wrong.  The virus had a reverse effect within the animals causing them to exhibit uncontrollable rage—hence, the “Rage Virus.” If that were not enough, a group of eco-terrorists, in their own rage, broke into the laboratory to free all the infected chimps. Obviously, they did not have all the necessary information.

No time passes before the greater part of Great Britain is infected and quarantined, leaving the few survivors running like hell.

—Perhaps just a bit of bad luck…the virus mutated and became lethal, extremely so.

The quarantine of Manhattan was anything but organized, leaving Lieutenant Colonel Robert Neville walking the abandoned streets of New York City with his dog.  He, as it turns out, is one of the lucky ones who is naturally immune to the virus. And if being the last man standing were not enough, Neville has the Darkseekers to deal with.  In this world, his immunity has made him the prey of these cannibalistic, UV intolerant—you guessed it—mutants.

What is the difference between dsktop computer engineer and dsktop ...

Well, I have my degree in CS. CS is really just another as form of math, it is the science of computation, or in another words the science beyond how you develop algorithms to solve problems. Along the method you learn programming, not because CS has allthing to do goes along with programming, several nevertheless coding is the tool we utilize to solve the problems. Kind of just like a regular math degree has nothing to do goes along with your TI-82, yet you have to utilize it to solve problems… You asides learn stuff just like data structures, time complexity analysis, and you will learn about how dsktop computers work from the ground up.

I’m not totally certain, several nevertheless I conceive that CE focusses more over the dsktop computer, how it works and how to build a dsktop computer rather than over the computation. In CE the Computer refers to an actual dsktop computer, whenre in CS the Computer has more to do goes along with computation than a dsktop computer.
