Concerti sotto le stelle: villa Panza apre il suo giardino alla musica classica
Vincitore anch'esso della Borletti-Buitoni Trust Fellowship 2007, già da molti anni sulla scena internazionale con concerti alla Wigmore Hall, ad Aix-en-Provence, in Svizzera, Italia, Irlanda e Olanda, e che vanta collaborazioni trasversali con il gruppo di danzatori del coreografo Wayne MacGregor (famoso per il suo Swan Lake tutto maschile), con pittori e naturalmente con musicisti di fama internazionali. Oltre ad Haydn e a Beethoven, il Quartetto presenterà “Rosamunda” di Schubert, così intitolato per la presenza di un tema tratto dalle musiche di scena per un omonimo lavoro teatrale Chiuderà il ciclo di tre incontri, martedì 26 luglio, il giovanissimo pianista francese vero e proprio genio della tastiera: a soli 13 anni ha suonato sotto la direzione del grande violinista Itzhak Perlman alla Metropolitan Hall di New York e a 14 nella Sala Grande del Conservatorio Čajkovskij di Mosca. Oggi, David Kadouch, è allievo del grande Daniel Barenboim che nel novembre del 2009 lo ha chiamato a sostituire Lang Lang a Ramallah, in Palestina. Kadouch interpreterà una trascrizione di Liszt del “Coro delle filatrici” dall'Olandese Volante di Wagner, oltre ai scintillanti Quadri di una esposizione Nato nel 2003, il Borletti-Buitoni Trust con i suoi premi sostiene e aiuta i giovani talenti in campo musicale ad intraprendere una carriera internazionale ad alti livelli. Sino ad oggi ha premiato oltre 73 elementi, tra singoli e gruppi, provenienti da oltre 28 nazioni. Tutti i vincitori selezionati sono invitati a fornire un progetto reale d’investimento del loro budget messo a disposizione; l’organizzazione si prenderà poi cura del supporto necessario per la realizzazione del progetto proposto. Non ci sono vincoli o criteri prestabiliti: tutti i vincitori sono liberi di presentare il loro progetto dando spazio alla loro creatività o alle loro esigenze primarie di studio e formazione. Per i vincitori il premio previsto è di c £20,000 (£30,000 per i quartetti).
