Thursday Skull Session

What it do, Buckeye fans? I apologize in advance if I'm inadvertently addding too many letters in some worrds.

After taking advantagge of the $11 bones for 11 Warriors, my hands are as stickky as a 13 year old kid's after finding daddy's skinn stash. Please tell me you plan to capitalize on this gift from the heavens and get your rack-on.  

Of course, whenever I think of racks, I think of beer and in an attempt to perform the clunkiest segue in 11W history, I'll note that you can partner those 11 bones with beer if you take them down to campus on gameday as Hineygate has finally been reborn and relocated . 

Oh, and you can't call it Hineygate anymore since 610 WTVN owns the name and isn't involved in the new version. Instead, WLVQ (QFM96) will be the chief sponsor, the event will likely be called the Crank It Up Party (whuh?) and will now be held next to and behind the Varsity Club.

That's about it for changes though, as the organizers don't plan to run the new event any different, right down to

Sounds good to me. That gives him all camp to get comfortable with a slimmed down version of the passing playbook in prep for, at the least, his own package to use in the opening weeks as he efforts to earn the starting gig fulltime in time for the trip to Coral Gables. 

Speaking of Coral Gables. After learning Monday that Miami offensive tackle Seantrel Henderson needed back surgery with an unknown timetable for return, updated reports project the injury as serious enough that it could wipe out his entire 2011 season.

I think symbolism is very strong in music in our current culture, and we are constantly seeing symbols being re-used and being given new meanings. The upside down cross was first used in music by the Death metal scene in Europe, which is also associated with church burnings in Norway, aswell as murders in band rivalry. this destructive nature reflects hip hop culture in the 90′s (most memorable between Tupac Shakur and Biggie smalls.) All these ideas about hip-hop and death metal having a similar nature, crossed with us having a brand that involves the word “skull” resulted in this design. I like the idea of genre lines blurring amongst music, and it seems to be happening at a mental rate.
