Chad Kagy wears a helmet cam for the BMX Big Air

(CBS) - Every once in a while, I catch some flubbed moment in sports and think, just maybe, with a little bit of luck, I could have pulled that off. Be it a missed layup in a basketball game, a botched ground-ball in a baseball game, or a dropped pass in a football game, you can't help but think you might have been able to execute a botched moment better.

With the Big Air competition in the X Games, I can't even consider the possibility. Ever.

Some of the stunts and tricks that are pulled off in this competition with apparent ease are absolutely astounding. A little over 10 years ago Tony Hawk pulled off the unthinkable, a "900", and now we have riders going for triple back-flips and double front-flips.

To show you what it is like to attempt the BMX Big Air, Chad Kagey wears a helmet cam for his soaring jump and half-pipe attempt on the BMX Big Air, an experience that must be seen to be believed (and is still pretty unbelievable even when you do see it).

I've been looking at helmet cams for a while now. I was looking at the GoPro cams until today. I had no idea Wayne was keeping an eye out for one around here. Today he found one. I got a text that said "I left the computer on, check it out when you get home." On the screen was a local ad for a Tony Hawk Helmet Cam!!! I called right away and went and got it!!! Yeah it's not an HD GoPro, eventually we'll get one of those too. But this camera works great! *Sigh* I love him. Klein and I are currently based in southern New Mexico after 3.5 years in Hawaii. Overall I focus on Klein's fitness. Ensuring she is conditioned properly allows her to be the best athlete she can possibly be. Yes, she is a full Perch but I promise you she is the most athletic and capable full Perch you will ever see in your life!! I have been riding since I was 6. I have the worst case of the horse bug you could possibly imagine. As far as myself I am a HUGE advocate for horse and rider fitness. It does nothing but help build the bond and teamwork between you and your horse. I am Cooper trained Functional Fitness trainer and a Certified Equestrian Fitness Trainer (personal trainer specifically geared toward riders). I also want to add that I am lucky to have an incredibly understanding "horse husband." He puts away numerous tons of hay, takes videos for us, helps at the barn with anything, manages to never forget what Klein eats for breakfast and dinner, etc... He also supports me no matter how much time I spend at the barn, I wish he could understand how much that means to me. Thanks for reading! We really appreciate it!
