Charlotte Havis Andrews

Charlotte Havis Andrews of Lubbock departed this life on Tuesday, July, 12, 2011 at the age of 80. She was born March 23, 1931 in Roaring Springs to Herman and Amy Havis.  She graduated high school from Roaring Springs in 1948, and Draughn's Business School in Lubbock in 1950. She married Jack Andrews also in 1950, while he was serving in the U.S. Army. In 1952, after being discharged, they lived in New Mexico and Texas and worked in the oil field. Charlotte worked for several automobile dealerships as bookkeeper and office manager. Then she began working in the oil field as an office manager for a pulling unit company. Charlotte was a member of Hillcrest Country Club where she played bridge and golf.
